About the Role
Perform damage tolerance, fatigue, and static analysis and testing for aircraft structure utilizing
fundamentals of fatigue and fracture mechanics, non-linear finite element modeling, and DaDT
material allowable. Employ standard solutions to substantiate aircraft structure life and safe
operating intervals and develop sound nonstandard methods and approaches to solve complicated
aircraft structure problems where established solutions are insufficient. Generate structural
substantiation and engineering reports in compliance with FAR requirements, and participate in
Preliminary Design Review (PDR) and Critical Design Review (CDR). Review engineering
change, interpret technical specifications, assess means of compliance, and disposition non-
conforming manufactured par
Requirements
Must possess at least a bachelor's or its foreign equivalent in Mechanical Engineering,
Aerospace Engineering, or related field and at least 18 years of work experience in Aerospace
Industry. Must Possess at least 15 years experiences of damage tolerance analysis and testing on
aircraft structure. Must also possess at least 10 years experiences with: analyzing highly loaded
critical aircraft joints subject to 14 CF Part 25.571, MSC Nastran structure analysis software,
NASGRO Fatigue and Fracture Analysis software.
